Who We Are
Options Pregnancy Center of Western Nebraska is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that exists to equip women and families facing unplanned pregnancy with comprehensive Christ-centered support and to empower families to choose abundant life for their babies and themselves.

Jana Kehn, Executive Director
A lifelong resident of the Panhandle, Jana has always had the heart-goal and desire to cultivate a growing Christ-centered relationship with the area’s community, families, and youth.
Jana’s past experiences include a 14-year career in the Gering Public Schools’ Jr. and Sr. High Music Department and Jr. High Media Center. At GPS, Jana had the opportunity to mentor many youth and also helped facilitate a student-led Bible study. Jana also served for 17 1/2 years as the Adult Services Librarian at the Lied Scottsbluff Public Library. While there, she coordinated community outreach programs including educational classes, trainings, programs, and book clubs, to name a few.
Jana brings this past experience to OPC with the excitement and desire to provide education, options, and resources to families and individuals faced with tough situations.

Lynne Adams, Nurse Manager
Lynne has been a part of the Scottsbluff community for many years with stops in California and Nevada along the way. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Biola University. Her main nursing emphasis has been school nursing for 22 years with 15 of those years teaching medical science classes to high school and college students.
Her ultrasound training was through Heartbeat International.
Lynne is blessed with her husband, James, 3 children, and 6 grandchildren. It is a privilege and honor to view these tiny babies and introduce this new life to moms.

Frequently asked questions.
How do I know if I am Pregnant? What are the symptoms?
Pregnancy symptoms are different for every woman, and some don't experience any symptoms at all. The most common sign of pregnancy is a missed period. Other common symptoms include:
- Nausea/Vomiting
- Fatigue
- Tender swollen breasts
- Spotting
- Cramping
- Mood swings
- Food aversions
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, there is a possibility you are pregnant. However, a good way to know is to take a pregnancy test, which we offer for free.
If I bought a test at the store do I need to come in for a test?
Our lab quality pregnancy tests are the same ones you'd find in a doctor's office or hospital. Home pregnancy tests are usually very accurate but not always, so it's best to come in for a pregnancy test to get the most accurate reading.
Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?
Yes! Feel free to bring a friend along. For privacy, we will meet with you alone to share your pregnancy test results, but your friend can join you any time after that when you are ready.
Can I get birth control at Options?
We do not provide birth control, but do encourage you to speak to your doctor about any contraceptive needs you may have.
What if I've already had an abortion?
Some women don't have anyone to talk to about their abortion. We offer a group you can join where you will have a chance to process what you're experiencing and feel supported.
Can I come in for an ultrasound to find out the sex of my baby?
We only offer ultrasound services after you've had a positive pregnancy test to determine the viability of the pregnancy and how far along you are in your pregnancy.
Can I just walk in or do I need an appointment?
We accept both walk-ins and appointments. If you prefer to have an appointment, click on "set an appointment" below.
What if I don't have insurance?
All our services are free and confidential, so you don't need to have insurance.
Will my medical information be kept private?
Yes! Options Pregnancy Center is committed to keeping your personal information private and is compliant with all state and federal privacy laws.
